Very fun, but unfortunately the part when you pick up the light bulb (from the videos I've seen) I can't get to work. Is there a crouch button I'm missing? Otherwise, great game idea!

God that was well made. I cannot wait for the full game. The basement area especially once the alarm goes off is just stressful. Also I'm so curious on the lore of this as it reminds me of some creepypasta takes on Garfield, and I'm deeply interested. Great work on the character models, and I'm curious to see where you go from here on all of this. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the full thing, and what gets released with it.Great Potential and can recommend this demo. It's short, but it's good.

Ah, and I forgot about that "the kid" bit. In 1105.txt is written: "

[...]
"THE KID" ONLY SAW ONE HOUSE AND FOUND HIM WAITING OUTSIDE
", which practically describes the start of the game ; after looking at the sky we see the house and see garfield outside, waiting. So it's very possible that "The Kid" is the player and yeah, it is indeed most definitely garfield jon refers to about the sky he made.
And about the kid, without the quotes signs, it was probably him who made all those drawings in that "secret" cage. The only thing, that bothers me about this theory, is that in 1101.txt is written: "
I WOKE UP AND FOUND THE KID IN THE BASEMENT
KEEPING "THE KID" IN A CAGE FOR NOW
", so in the first sentence jon refers to the kid, and suddenly he speaks of "The Kid", aka the player, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe we as player actually were kept in that cage for some time before the start of the game (prefigurative), but then we somehow forgot everything and ended up outside staring at the sky.
What do you think?

P.P.S Did you find that strange CD, that lies under the tree nearest to the garage after we try to open it? If so, did you find any kind of cd-player in the game? I tried interacting with the TV, but it doesn't work.
P.P.P.S About that strange CD... there probably is no cd-player in the game, but if you complete the game with that cd picked up, you'll see some kind of cypher in the ending. I've attached it to this reply. I can't exactly tell which letters are which, but I hope I can find out more!
when you go near the stop sign, a weird buzzing sound plays. I-S6S!gq2?2-mondays is what i think it says. also, there was something that might have happened because i interacted with the tv, (when i grabbed the cd) but i cant be sure. what happened was the tv screen turned blue a while after all the sigils were painted over. P.S i regret my commentary history. P.P.S i 99% agree with you on "the kid" being in the cage. P.P.P.S we should refer to the kid we play as as lyman and the garfield/ other kid as just garfield.

This was not bad for being a game based on garfield, expected to be a mostly meme game but turned out to be kind of spooky. Made a video on it.

just walk to the area where the bulb is and u should crouch, no crouch button needed
