I hate to ask “did you try restarting it,” but I’m not sure what the problem would be if it persists consistently with every playthrough. The only issue I can think of is if you hesitate on the top step or in the doorway for too long, there could be a glitch. Otherwise, if starting a new game doesn’t work, delete the downloaded file and redownload it
There wasn't any sort of glitch, I'm just bad at the game 💀 And I was just wondering if there was any better way to get past that "level," like a hack or something.

Where do I even begin with this game?! Your game start to finish had my jaw dropping and questioning my own existence. I had originally played this game as a part of my Half Hour Horror video, but decided to remove and make it its own video after my wild playthrough. This game is scary, this game is eerie, and this game left me with multiple questions. Can’t get any better than that. Only criticism I can give is the maze could use a little tweak so enemies don’t spawn on top/right behind you. But otherwise this game was a fever dream start to finish. Incredible work!
My only gripe is that it's a little hard to know how to progress. I find myself blindly scanning the rooms for prompts a little too often. Otherwise, this is really cool! Very trippy and intriguing as it goes on. Excited to see where this is going. Keep up the good work!
This can't be the Garfield I remember, it can't be, right? There's something that's different about him. It's on the tip of my tongue bu- wait where's my tongue... But still, even though my tongue may be gone I loved this game even though I had NO IDEA what was going on and am excited for more to come!!

i personally love this game, and it was so much fun watching youtubers like eddievr/special edd and big juicy and markiplier play this. i think this game is great. downloaded it shortly after i saw them play it, and i. was. hooked. i was coming on this sight every day hoping for either a new update or the full game to be released.
now that i know that there's a possibility it may be around christmas time that the game will be complete, i have something to look forward to for christmas. i'm hoping it will be free, but if it isn't, i have no problem spending a little bit of money to continue to play this game.
Honestly i completely forgot about this but i was really buzzed when i saw there was a update and you never disappoint, fantastic as always, the level of detail and story in this game is brilliant! and how you keep digging into the lore and making me want more is amazing honestly cannot wait for the full game well done!

If starting a new game doesn’t fix the issue, try deleting the file and redownloading the game. If the problem persists, lemme know
